Organ Meditations on the Stations of the Cross
On the Monday of Holy Week, March 29th, 2021, from 12pm-1pm EST, Amplify Female Composers presents a one-hour meditation on the fourteen Stations of the Cross. An organ piece by a female composer reflecting on Lenten themes accompanies each Station. The organ works are offered virtually by fifteen outstanding organists from across the country.

About Amplify Female Composers
Amplify Female Composers is a new platform created by Carolyn Craig and Janet Yieh that seeks to encourage the performance of sacred music by female composers and arrangers. Our hope is to expand the rich repertoire of music in liturgical music programs, and to send this excellent music out into the world as a helpful resource for all church musicians and music lovers alike. The platform also hosts Resources and Articles pages to refer readers to some of the incredible work surrounding the liturgical music of female composers and arrangers.
#MondayMeditation
Our presentation of the Stations of the Cross exists solely for the purpose of showcasing sacred organ music by women composers and arrangers, and is not deriving any monetary profit whatsoever in doing so. All musical performances have been used with permission. By participating in the Stations of the Cross, organists certify that they have bought scores to support the composers represented.
